This Manga has been calm... when you're an author or a Mangaka even, you ought to have some drama of misunderstanding where you'll have your readers either mad at you for ruining the story or feel bad for the characters cause of what happened... And for me, it worked... Ryou's jealousy moment and him thinking Zen is cheating on him is what hit some readers here.
I've read some comments here, it's either frustrated about Futami being insensitive or the fact that readers are annoyed about Ryou for accusing Zen of cheating...
My take on the matter though is that... I know that when a person is in a relationship, both parties gotta have some trust for each other cause it's important for a relationship to work and last... But sometimes jealousy comes in and I think that's normal... everyone who's in a relationship goes through that and it shows/proves how much you love someone... When jealousy takes over, doubt of your lover cheating on you cannot be impossible to happen. You might have a full trust but sometimes some doubt lingers especially if they really are cheating behind your back.
On the other hand, Ryou's case, I can understand too... their connection began from rivalry and became lovers. So when Futami came in the picture wanting to be Zen's rival, of course that would lit a fire of jealousy and doubt to Ryou's heart... But honestly, I think the author did all this just so the story would balance. We've seen Zen's jealousy moments so of course fans would want to see what Ryou would be like if jealous. Considering how competitive his lover is, obviously he was afraid that Zen would find him boring and would turn to others instead.
This is long enough, don't wanna make it an essay lol
