I still don't understand what happened 😭

So basically from my understanding, they both dreamed about the confinement and falling in love. But the dream was kinda like a Precognitive dream. So basically, they lived an entire few months together in a dream and both remembered. So at the end of it, it WAS a dream but since they actually lived it then its true for them (idk if that makes sense)
