You’d be amazed at how many people here don’t get the concept of consent when it comes to media. It’s wild that you have to explain why defending non-consensual sexual abuse is wrong, whether it’s fiction or reality. People can enjoy good writing without constantly defending the abuser and their sick actions. All they care about how the characters still end up together, in love and with a happily ever after. Stockholm Syndrome isn't a happily ever after for any sane person/character who did not consent to be treated the way they were.
