Exactly! I hated him at first cause I was rooting for the main couple but I did realize how hurt he must've felt after coming back to this manga a few times. Every time I do, I just wish there's a spin off where he got his happy ending
As much as his perspective is sad, creating that mistranslation and making Hiro misunderstand his friends feelings and intentions was so shitty. Also I can have sympathy for a secret childhood crush but exploding on both of them was just gross.
come on Humans are not perfecto! Does he not have the right to be jelous? seein' someone from JUST 2 MONTHS ago taking his crush FROM childhood. The plot is good it's realistic the translator guy is just behaving like we would have in FEAR of loosing someone you love FROM CHILDHOOD. But people expect Ideal love story where the translator guy should have been happy or gave up on his crush?like we expect from side lead...He was unfair(villlain) but he is a HUMAN with EMOTION.......(づ￣ ³￣)づ
Oh course he is allowed to have these emotions, but he spiralled and held them down until he finally exploded at them, when they obviously had no idea. His friend and Hiro didn’t do anything wrong and both put in effort to understand each other, but when they couldn’t he literally tried to sabotage his friends happiness. During this whole time mind you, he could’ve just spoken honestly to him. He was so weirdly possessive even at the first meeting as well.
Well, let's not forget: He gets paid to translate. It's his job and it is really unprofessionell to mistranslate. For me this would be a huge trust Issue in the future, childhood friend or not.

Yeah I feel bad for him but at the same time don’t. Because the seme doesn’t owe it up to him to recuperate his feelings, also it’s clear to me that the seme has know clue that he had feelings for him. I just seem Kinda annoying that he had so much time since childhood to tell the seme his feelings but then gets jealous when the seme fall in love. And 2 months is crazy to fall in love with someone but then again so what, he had plenty of time to confess.
^ exactly my point, dude is not doing his job, i would probably feel bad for him if he wasn't literally hired to interpret for jiheo, friend or not it's his obligation ┑(￣Д ￣)┍ he's lucky jiheo is his friend and probably won't take actions against him for his unprofessionalism

Nah sorry but he learnt Japanese and Chinese bc he wanted to. They are childhood friends so it been years for him to realize that the actor will never like him like that. Just bc you have a crush and act good with them it doesn't mean you have rights on them. It's one sided and he did not have any right to mess with his loving life. Asshole
like what is goin' on? the translator guy like the korean actor guy FROM CHILDHOOD right? and then suddenly this japnease guy name Hiro comes become all lovely dovely with korean guy in JUST 2 MONTHS and even says he will wait for the translator guy to accept him? idk from the point of view of translator guy its realllyyy reallyy sad tbh.
