I read a lot of omegaverse but i think compatibility plays a factor. Forgot the title but its really possible for a beta to get an omega pregnant. In this omegaverse setting in particular, the omega takes drugs for his mental health which in real life, antidepressants and such causes changes to the body. It might be the same in this case.
The sperm of the beta is okay but the omega's egg cell is not therefore it needs a more dominant sperm aka alpha sperm. Plus, they were in a rush to have a baby, werent they? Its possible that the beta could get the omega pregnant but when only when the omega's body is okay.
See how Byul's sister got made 15-16yrs after him? Byul's mother had body problem therefore wasnt compatible to recieve Byul's father's sperm.

It depends on the author. In this story, betas couldn't impregnate omegas. BUT there are other stories in which they can.
