Most people die yes, the mother and sister live, the king and queen of the human and elf kingdom die, and most of the mercenary group except for like 1 or 2 .Tess is neither dead or alive she has some one else inhibiting her body. However this may change later I haven't been up to date with the novel.

This news saddens me, but thank you! When I read the chapter about the artist having looked forward to the War arc due to its darker storylines, I had a feeling the OP hadn't just been making stuff up... at least I know for sure now. Again, thank you.
I read somewhere that apparently in the novel all of his family ultimately dies and Tess later on too. Is this true? I need to know so I can prepare my heart for that.
I want to believe the person that left that post was just playing but if not... (T_T)
