Good plot, deep characters, amazing dynamic. It doesn’t get better. Now people might be expecting me to type a whole essay again, but girl I retyped that essay 100 times regardless what what time. Just woke up at 3 am? Doing my finals? Doing an important essay worth 25% of my grade? You want me to type why I love it so much? I’ll drop everything and type it, bought the entire novel digitally raw, and I don’t even speak Korean. Sent my ID to bypass Korean age verification for the raws and the audio drama and just spent 57$ + 60 dollar shipping for the novel physical copy AND I STILL DONT SPEAK KOREAN.

There’s quite some people that basically worships rainbow city as if it’s the best manhwa ever made. So I thought it would beat the plot line of Here U Are but turns out to be a basic chinese bl when I’ve read the first chapters. It was a major let down.

1. If you’re gonna shove it to people’s throat, at least make sure that it’s amazing and interesting FROM THE VERY FUCKING BEGINNING you dumbass.
2. It’s a basic korean story (according to you) so it’s not worth the hype of shoving it to other people’s throats. At least Here U Are is a basic story that’s interesting from the get go, as well as Red mansion, and hey! Even Payback is so much better than the story you’re trying to kill us with. Payback is worthy of the hype more.
3. If it’s boring from the very beginning, IT IS WORTHY TO BE DROPPED BY ANYONE. I don’t know why that’s wrong. If I don’t like the start of the story, it’s boring enough to be dropped.

First of all, after reading your response it’s clear that you’re not interested in a peaceful argument cause you went straight for personal insults (that’s a fallacy in the argumentation aspect btw) and there are many thing I would like to call you after seeing your reply, but I’m not like you. First of all, you said “quite some people” and part of that “quite some people” happen to be me who worship rainbow city, so naturally I’m going to rebuke you if you call my favorite manhwa “basic”. Yes? Does it seem logical that I’m defending my fav manhwa?
Secondly, I love red mansion and I love payback. And according to YOU it’s not worth the hype. You’re calling it a “basic Korean story” don’t you mean a basic Korean START? Cause yk, you only read the start, or am I wrong? Which leads me to my third point where you claimed that “stories should be interesting from the beginning or people can drop it”. YOU can drop it. I think I mentioned how I tell people if they want to read it, read every word because it might be boring at the beginning. That’s the author’s writing style. Heck, I was bored of it at the beginning BUT I KEPT READING. She writes stories were they’re basic at the beginning and slowly ease into the good stuff. So does that mean none of her stories are worth reading? Sure you can drop it, no one is forcing you to read it, I’m saying you;re missing out on the good stuff.
Also, if you’re going to tell people who hasn’t read the story that “it’s basic”, I’d expect you to have at least read MOST of it, which I assume you didn’t because you implied you dropped it at the beginning.
