Unfortunately for you guys, there are many people who dig this type of genre, and those tags were there to help yall avoid it lol. Yes I saw the warnings but if you actually read what I said you’d realize that with how I saw the story progressing I thought it would lead elsewhere. I now know that’s wishful thinking. Does not change the fact that the story is still shit and I wasn’t referring to just THIS one in particular. Next time, pay attention to what I am truly bitching about in my comments
Oh no I acknowledge how shit like this is in basically EVERRYY manga (especially the popular ones) and how I’m tired of it. How dare I?? It shouldn’t be this difficult to find a good story without rape or the likes THATS what I was talking about in my comment. Those ppl you’re talking about have mountains of these kinds of stories to read and are honestly the backbone of the problem popularizing shit like this then saying how it’s so hot or whatever when you know damn well if it was to happen to you in RL it would be the most traumatic shit ever. Every chance I’ve had to read about action is always accompanied by rape and some from inconsequential shit. So before you start whining in your replies actually read and see what I’m whining about.

That's right, it's getting tiring to see all these manhwas bl using the same methods and tropes, modus operanti, to get quickly popular without much efforts. It's like they think: oh these dogs like smut and abuse, rape, let's throw them the bone and they'll be satisfied. It's lazy writing and lack of creativity, contempt towards the readers.
There's a lot of manhwas that I don't read or had dropped for the reasons you mention.
If not for all the bdms-ish torture and tasteless porn, Yian's Binding has the potential to touch a larger community even as yaoi. The action scenes are great, agree with you. But who knows for whatever reason the authors had decided to wreack this potential by showing what they show... It's uncomprehensible.

Sorry I saw you send a message to me but idk if I accidentally deleted it or smth but I see what you’re talking about! I’m currently reading that and so far it’s pretty good. I put it on hold so I can just binge it in one go, there’s this other one I’d also recommend it’s based on a novel and is reallyyy good (what I’ve read so far anyway). I feel it’s more of a romantic sub plot tho. I believe it’s called The Hunter Wants To Live Quietly.
It’s the way how I was really feeling this story. At first was realllyyyy hoping it was just a short story with kinky a CONSENTING couple then I saw the whole action part and completely forgot about the first panel cause I’m a big sucker for action and fighting but WHAT THE HELL IS THIS??? FULL ON RAPE AND HE DOESNT EVEN GIVE A SHIT??? I need an ACTUAL GOOD manga with action and it NOT using rape to progress the story/relationship of better yet if you’re gonna use it actually highlight how fucked up it is and not frame it as ‘oh big dick seme fucking his petite uke’ it really fucks up ppls minds to the point that you’ll become desensitized to RL rape.
