Is this a love triangle?

on the cover the guy on the left possessed mc's childhood friend/first love on the right and so in season 1 everyone presumes that the childhood friend is dead so its not a love triangle then... but from what i'm seeing in the comments the childhood friend somehow comes back to life making season 2 introduce a love triangle? i haven't been back here since season 1 ended and forgot about it but what is thissss
