Agreed. I was wondering if it was clearly stated if Lunium favored one over the other. Because if not, then Eve could've AT LEAST treated them both the same and been impartial. But she clearly favored one over the other.
They really managed to make me feel sorry for Noel. He was just a kid wanting parental love. It's not like his "father" was unable to love anyone, his "father" just didn't love HIM. How fucked up is that. He could literally watch what it'd look like to receive his father's love, but never could. He was the outsider looking in, in his own home.
Like you, I also wonder if Noel was just naturally the jealous type, bc so is Adam when Eve is around anyone. "Tower Master Adam is upset", "Tower Master Adam is angry"... those messages popped up a lot showing his jealousy. But damn. At least treat both kids the same so whatever happens, happens. But right now, this result is entirely her fault.
Because Lunium told her not to worry and just raise them, so anything she could do would be just seen as him caring for them as their father. You see how her giving Adam all those flowers and threats of kisses wasn't a foul. But also neglecting Noel wasn't a foul either. I wonder if she could've gave them both love and nothing would happen, then at least his evil wouldn't be on her hands. As it stands now, it's her fault bc he just wanted love too.
Damn, MC feels colder and deader with each new chapter. Especially in the last flashback - although I’m not sure if I should give the benefit of the doubt since the game said she couldn’t influence the past, she took Lunium’s place as their dad and was very biased towards Adam.
It’s not certain if Lunium was also biased towards Adam, or if he tried to treat his sons equally and Noel was just jealous of Adam having any of their father’s attention.
To be fair, when Eve was their dad she was definitely biased (the feeding flashback and when she only gave Adam flowers) but Noel was the villain in the present time trying to tear them apart - then it was karma in a way. Was it Eve’s fault for not trying to help Noel, or Noel’s jealousy getting the better of him and not putting Eve’s words to heart?
