Nah, I’ve seen different MLs. Even if they weren’t extremely handsome, they didn’t look like side characters. This one really does.
it’s because of their demeanor. ML are usually shown very cold and then later on being super sweet. This Male lead is cold but it’s not shown very much because it’s from the FL point of view. It’s also because he’s not cold in nature like the FL’s brother who is honestly pissing me tf off. i hate his ass. Anyways It’s also the same with the emperor. They’re both very cold and aren’t “technically” good people. Maybe your type is just bad guys. The ML isn’t a bad guy so that’s probably why you don’t find him attractive. (I’m sorry if this came out as rude )
That's not even it. I've seen every variations of attractive ML from cold to super sweet/kind like Nine in Beware the Villainess. I'm purely talking about the way the artist chose to draw the ML here. The emperor and her brother are cold, yes, but they're esthetically pleasing to look at. I'm actually surprised when there's a panel when I look at the ML and think "oh, he looks good here." There's at least one of them every couple of chapters haha.
Speaking of side-characters, every time I look at him, he appears to me more like that one loyal knight who guards a FL. That one knight readers find endearing and sometimes even ship him with the FL, etc.
I totally disagree, even if Quincy is so hot-... The ml has his own charms that makes him special than other ml. I find him quite unique, I think it's because of the different personality and demeanor from other typical ml
That’s fine, it was just bugging me for the longest time so I expressed my thoughts. I didn’t actually expect to see that many thumbs up because it was mostly a me thing. And if you see my other replies, I’ve seen different MLs before. It’s not about his personality. I like him as a character. It’s strictly because of the design choice of the artist.
I’m going to be honest here and say… the ML looks like a side character. He has the typical ML white hair and I understand she loves him, but I can’t remember ever feeling so cold about a ML before. He just looks so plain, I sometimes try to convince myself that he’s attractive. Meanwhile, both the FL’s brother and the crown prince or emperor or whatever are actually handsome, so I know it’s not because the author couldn’t draw a truly handsome ML… don’t know, maybe it’s just me.
