From what I understood of reading the spoilers quite a while back, it’s not the mother’s body and instead that of the real daughter, just a different soul within it. And that’s why everyone in the family feels uncomfortable around Rania. Well, I guess it could also be her whole demeanor and how she’s attempting to get closer to the family as well.
Also, the soul of the original Rania has already moved on from what I remember (as in dead and gone), but I’m not one hundred percent certain on that, so just take that info with a grain of salt. And yes, the temple IS using the current Rania to get access to the spirit beasts like the tiger because they’re the ones who put that new soul into Rania’s body and can take it out—a perfect tool to do their bidding, I guess.
The original raina's soul is lurking beside the fake raina, the mc also saw her once or twice and in raws, as long as I read in lastest chapter, the ov raina appeared again beside the fake one.
