At first I was annoyed by the red head but after considering the totality of what Yijin did; he’s valid to feel as betrayed as he does. To have a such a long standing working relationship with someone for them to just up and kick you to the curb is fucked up. Totally legal but it’s not socially good business.
He is owed the bare minimum of respectfully parting ways at the dinner. Yijin was immediately dismissive and flippant when he could have just been up front and thank red for his contributions but he’d like to go in different direction.
I’m not justifying the way he spoke to the MC because that was out of line calling him trash but I cam empathize with how he’s feeling.
Being a creative is hard enough business wise without being undermined by long standing partners.
