Yeah... when he was in a rut and Brett had just came back from a game (hurt) he was out of control and Brett couldn't make him stop even after hitting him repeatedly... he only stopped when Brett used the safe word... so I think this is more like a preemptive hit to make sure he won't loose his reason instead...
Somehow this is one of the few I don't mind them getting violent with each other...
