my grandma is actually pretty open minded even tho she's like 90, and when some of my friends were talking bout their fam not accepting them my grandma, who doesn't really talk the right way (she only speaks in dialect) she always try to use the right pronounce and always asks about new boyfriend/girlfriend
and every time she does that istg i always say "i wanna be like this"
i was already crying and then you said "maybe we dont have grandmas like this but I wish to be like her" and I started SOBBING

My grandmas aren't particularly open minded people, but I know people like Granny exist in the world
Friend of mine came out as trans to their family, the single person who stood in his corner was his grandma
She didn't know a thing about pronouns or dysphoria, but she knew a lot about loving her grandkids and wishing them happiness
And she's so stern lol
Maybe we don't have grandmas like this, but I particularly wish to be like Granny when I grow old
