It's funny how this story makes people abandon all reason. You can go on any story with the slightest hint of toxicity and you'll find people calling it out in the comments. But for this story in particular, readers keep ignoring Brett's obviously toxic behaviour and how his actions are often nonconsensual. Every comment I saw was praising him or encouraging his actions and find him sexy. Go figure
ah yes I remember now why I hate Brett. Whenever Hayden tries to set a boundary, he violates it just because he can. Hayden clearly told him the deal was off and told him to think about their relationship and that he doesn't want this booty call bullshit. Brett, then, decides to go against everything he said and barged in knowing his rut will make him particularly susceptible to Brett'S advances.
Brett has always been this way. I don't mind that he fucks around and doesn't want to be tied down but fucking around with someone who clearly said no to you is garbage behaviour
