From what I've read in a forum, the original world/timeline is Silence. Then the world where huimin and iheon were friends, the one huimin thinks is real, is the world huimin dreams of where they are just normal humans (there's a proper term for this but I forgot). Afaik, iheon also came to that world with memories of his past life (silence) and treated him better he regretted not being able to in their first life. Now the current world is a repeat of the first world/timeline which huimin thought was a book he transmigrated to. Iheon started remembering when they first did the deed.
