Can't agree more I don't even remember the last time I have read a decent one like just having to re-read few manhwas and mangas for the nth time ┗( T﹏T )┛
Same , now a days I started reading gl more , I realized that if the same gl would became a bl ( lets change the gender of the main female leads) then it would have been more popular! The main result is , of course straight women reading bl and hetero romance but is not interested towards gls . Because they're (basically we are ) straight they tends to go for hot men than hot women ╮(￣▽￣)╭
The problem with gl is that it lacks the captivating factor plotwise. I've read many gls but very few compare to the plots of bls(dont know about sl cause I find most of them boring. Bls have so many amazing storylines and subgenres but gls lack that. I personally LOVE lesbians but the plots are just not it for me ╮(￣▽￣)╭
Out of all the genres action, straight romance and bl sadly gl is the most underrated out of all of them and lately I feel like they make less and less gl :(
