Oh absolutely, I agree with everything you said. This was very masterfully set up and honestly feels more disturbing than a lot of red flag bl bc of how natural the abuse progression feels. The genuine ignorance/inexperience of Inhwee coupled with his past as an abused/neglected child makes him the perfect victim. I’m so curious of how this will play out
It was obvious from the beginning that Jeongwon had a hidden side to him. He always had an ominous vibe that slipped out from time to time, so much so I was anticipating his innner thoughts to get a proper feel what he was thinking.
The sweet moments while really nice at first had an 'empty' feeling to them eventually and I was waiting for the next shoe to drop. Alike how Inhwee was getting that sense of wrongness initally, when they were spending every waking moment together and Jeongwon seemed to slip out of every question/situation without issues being resolved.
The author managed to set these scenes up more than you think if you reread.
