I find this bl to be really interesting. i think it would be way more interesting if it wasn’t isekai. I can tell the author did a tone of research, and understands emotions fairly well to write two emotionally complex characters (that of which is usually pretty 2 dimensional if you’d see them in other series with obsessive tops and the whole sha-bang).

the top is a man who was raised to think and feel like he could just get what he wanted if it took it from people by force no matter what. that’s actually how most alphas are raised.
he experienced great trauma which hardened his perspective of the world and how he carried himself. he experienced betrayal of the highest kind, and developed what I assume would be BPD. or C-BPD. (again, i say this as someone with and someone who studies this disorder)

the main character is such a mystery to me! There could be so many things going on for this story, and i saw a great theory in the comments. but i wanna talk as if the isekai part never happened.

his trauma induced disorders (PTSD, DID, and Pheromone Aversion) were well written, and the DID being a possible clever plot device makes me extremely excited for the future of this comic.

BPD: Borderline personality disorder (BPD) is a mental illness that causes people to have unstable emotions and impulsive behaviors, which can negatively impact their relationships, work, and self-image

    CBPD: Complex Borderline Personality Disorder
A more complex form of Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) that occurs when someone has BPD and another mental health condition, such as bipolar disorder, depression, ADHD, psychosis, or PTSD. CBPD is estimated to account for 85–97% of all BPD cases

DID: Dissociative identity disorder (DID) is a mental health condition where a person has two or more distinct identities, or "alters"
