I'M SO SORRY FOR NEVER REPLAYING, this is my second account so I don't log in that much and tend to ignore the notifications
I think that the lasts chapters have deepened on that. for me, it's the fact that hyunsun revealed in their first pseudo date (at the bar) how he feels that he's been living a meaningless life. he says "I worked hard as told by those around me, but at some point I felt empty" and it's exactly how yeoreum has been feeling
This is the first time that he felt understood. It's as if both have been doing what's technically right and what is supposed to make a great life but they are not getting joy from it or any sense of achievement and, at the same time, what brings light to those souless lifes is music/guitars and the time they spend together. you could reread chapter 3 after this updates and see how things match between yeoreum's pov and the speech that gives hyunsun at the bar due to having the 40's crisis
I've been enjoying this so much, but I couldn't help but keep wondering why did yeoreum feel that big connection with hyunsun, I was asking myself how much could a 26yo relate to 40yo man, but after reading this Iast chapter I get to see why he feels so comfortable and in harmony with hyunsun
