Read "The Lady Butler" because the ML finds out that the MC is not the same person right at the beginning but decides to love her as her own person! And he also given the choice between the old MC or the new MC (two different people) and he ends up choosing the new MC.
Still I wouldn’t like this kind of ending. I didn't read that one but if that guy loved the og why would he choose the possessed one?
And in this case, OgMaythan was nice to duke and why would ogMaythan soul need to be vanished because of MC? It feels so cruel. Honestly, I personally don't really like MC (I am only reading this for my sassy girls). He is too dumb for my liking. And, if og wanted mc to possessed his body then its whole different thing, otherwise, it sounds cruel to me.
Oh that's because the ML falls out of love with the original MC and falls in love with the new MC. (For good reasons) It's really cute in my opinion! You can fall in love with someone, fall out of love with them, and then fall in love again with someone new.
In the "Fiancee of the Wizard" the MC ends up merging with the old MC (which is scary in the beginning until near the end where it turns wholesome and better explained!)
Just throwing out my own manga suggestions and theories! Lots of these tropes reflect one another so perhaps it's going to change later on down the line.
tbh it feels kinda superficial if he gets with maythan because he fell in love with OG Maythan and not for who maythan is now, because they're not the same people. this is why i dont typically like the reincarnation trope, you always just end up feeling bad for the person who actually owns that body and name because now someone else is living the life they were supposed to.
