Okay let me start with the back story Dohyun was abandoned when he was 8 and was in an orphanage. During this time he meet Wooyeons mom and she sponsored him. When he was 14, Wooyeons mom found him a beta family and adopted him. Even though the family was good to him, Dohyun over heard his parents say “if it wasn’t for her then…” kinda implying they adopted him on for money. Dohyun was also badly bullied and his friends even made him get a tattoo on his back in Latin that translated to “I have a big penis”. He also heard all his life “it looks like he is faking a smile” (kinda sad because Wooyeon said the same thing). When Dohyun was 18, Wooyeons mom contacted him to spy on Wooyeon while tutoring. And inform her on EVERYTHING. Wooyeons throughout his life always had spy’s watching him. Sadly Danny (the American friend) was one of them. The mom contacted Danny in the US to look after him. Dealing with spy’s before, Wooyeon immediately knew and still became friends with Danny and forgave him. In later chapters there are some drama with classmates etc. Throughout the chapters, Dohyun knew it was Wooyeon. When Wooyeon first talked to Dohyun he didn’t know it was him. But a minute later when he heard his name he knew (he even ran to find him in campus). There is so much more detail on how Dohyun was feeling about Wooyeon. Does he like him? Should he tell him the truth? Etc. In later chapters Dohyun confesses he like Wooyeon and they start dating. Shortly after, Wooyeon has a meeting with his mom and finds out the truth. Wooyeon confronts Dohyun and break ups with him:(. The entire rest of the novel is Dohyun earning his trust back. (In the side stories Dohyun proposes to Wooyeon)
