So just to understand because the last 2 chapters confused me maybe from the translation or there’s missing part..

So, now the author is gone to where the real Edith and the others is? But what did they do to her?
And the real Reese is in the body now and she is the one who got punished? Leaving the Author aside isn’t the real Reese bad too? Like what the mother said about her?

Also I don’t understand what happened when the older brother went to see her, he just looked shocked. And he doesn’t get punished like Reese for everything he’s done? He is as bad as Reese maybe worst because there was no one took his body like Reese!!!

IDK

Totally agree it's a complete mess, i recommend reading the novel it's different and much more better.

Maybe I should, because it’s really good story

So from what I understood, the author is gone (not specified where to, but probably the other Edith incarnators took care of her) and the original Reeze is back to her body.

The older brother is shocked because he notices that it’s not “his” Reeze anymore (aka the author)

I think original Reeze let the author take her place, to help change the fate of original Edith but the plan backfired immensely. (Also why original Edith says that the author actually doesn’t understand original Reeze)

And the mother has *never* known the original Reeze in this timeline, as the story reboots every time and it’s been the author for 13 times already. I believe that is also why the brother immediately notices the change: he only ever knew the manipulative author-Reeze and that is who he loves. Not original Reeze.

As far as this goes, OG Edith mainly wanted answers from the author about her unnecessary suffering and making the story worse but decided not to punish the author. It’s unclear if her soul is able to reincarnate or what she’ll do now. The OG Reeze/FL was actually written as someone who was mistreated by her bio family but was supposed to be sweet or angelic. When the mother interviewed the OG FL and thought about her as a child the author was still in her body. I’m don’t think she’s as bad as her creator. I’m not sure about Cliff’s reaction, he may have been taking to the OG FL who he recognize. The author had created him to be her ideal match so I’m pretty sure he had a twisted love for her even if she didn’t seem to care about the aftermath. Cliff got a heavier dose of brainwashing then other characters since he was the main ML but he didn’t attempt to fight the brainwashing at any point and seemed to welcome it unlike Killian.
