Tbh I've seen some spoilers and theories and I'm a bit surprised, I love the story as it is in season 1, the cheerful and relaxed Uke... I'm afraid I'll be really disappointed if it will be revealed that's just a DID and cheerful Uke is simply a second persona. I feel sorry for Huimin of the novel universe, though I prefer the Isekaid one. I mostly like the story because of his positive personality and affections towards the ml... :'( Why, oh why...

So... I've read the famous spoilers, and... it happened that Huimin of the 'real' world is effectively his second persona, the one resulted from Huimin's (novel world) wish to live another better life for him. To formulate his wish, og Huimin made a sketch book. Therefore, this better life, he got to live it in the (sketch) book universe, fake world he created after he lived through trauma and abuse. So that second persona, more cheerful and mentally strong, was born in the book universe. There's no ABO in the book world because abo is the root of his trauma. And ml is just his best friend.
The spoilers are a bit confusing, so there's some unclear details, but while it's a second persona of og Huimin, it's also not a DID. Because Huimin of 'the real world' (in fact book world) was born in another universe (BW), shaped by other environments and family... There's réincarnation and also regression. There's a lot of contorsions to adjust everything in piece, the concept is creative and novative, there's real intentions to délivrer something unique, the plot makes sense in the end, but... but... the changes of personality of mc is just too great, the stretch too important. I'm delighted by the concept, but I'm afraid this will help to not be disappointed, for my part.
Mc plays such a role in reversing tragedy to a beautiful romance, hatred to mutual love... Knowing he's just a DID persona, or even second persona, is a bit disappointing.

ikr his current personality is a refreshing take for this concept but ig it make more sense for him to change knowing he lived thru that trauma,, still disappointed tho cus changing his current personality does feel like a character death for me(〜￣△￣)〜 lets just hope for the best
Actually I don't think they'll make a personality change, cause MC Huimin isn't a DID persona ; he's the reincarnated version. So og Huimin won't come back.
There will be a chasinh arc though, after mc got to know the truth that ml kept from him.
I understand you so much, because even if it's not a characters death, everything will seem fake to me knowing mc isn't a whole person, but a creation resulted from trauma (or whatever). I'm afraid I'll be losing interest in this bl.

He's kind and tried to understand ml, he empathizes and is willing to do everything for ml's happiness.
Og Huimin, I feel sorry for him, but he never tried anything of all this, even if he's also clearly into ml...
