I like the mostly smooth sailing this story has....I don't mind the lack of drama and breakups, if anything I welcome this change. I just wish the author had spent more time developing the romantic attraction. It felt like seme fell in love with the first guy who showed him kindness which is realistic but unromantic, in my opinion. The same goes for uke, it feels like he has that caregiver persona and just fell for the first guy who desperately needed his help....again realistic but unromantic. This feels like the equivalent of a dynamic that is well known in real life: the guy who picks up "the damaged girl" and she falls for him as he is her saviour while he loves her because he feels needed and she offers him the opportunity to be the knight in shining armour. Very unromantic and can lead to toxic dynamics
