can’t sleep and I finished reading the novel and here’s a very detailed explanation for it if you don’t wanna read the novel ..SPOILERS












Basically they get info from USHDO(?) and tell Taeui and Ilay that Jaeui is in a remote island in Seria if I’m not wrong I alr lowkey forgot.
Gale is Kyle’s (ilays older bro) friend and coworker and has been w Ilay since he was younger but left cs I think of business.
They travel there, and Gale is their “guide” and takes them to their house that they’ll be staying in. They stay w a lady(they called her something but I alr forgot mb lol I read ts 3 days ago too) and Taeui, Ilay, and Gale all have separate rooms.
Ilay and Taeui are upstairs and idk where Gale is at.
The novel is very descriptive that the woman in the area are fully covered and honestly I love Taeui bc he was so nonjudgmental, very understanding, and respectful when describing things in the island.
When Taeui goes into his room, Ilay decides to take a shower and hangout in his room bc he quotes that Taeuis room has “fresh” body soap and shampoo(we all know why the mfer is in there). As he’s showering, Taeui looks out and notices a small girl and boy staring at him (not relevant to anything)
They chill and I forgot if it was the same day or another day but there’s a scene where Ilay wants to have sex. Taeui doesn’t want to so he offers to give him a blowjob.
As Taeui is sucking the bitch off, they hear a knock and it’s Gale. Gale opens the door and basically sees them, Ilay acts all nonchalant and is like “is ts urgent?” And Gales like nah and leaves, Gale didn’t rlly gaf and is very straightforward. During this, Ilay forcefully held Taeuis head down and was basically choking on his dick.
Taeui did not like it and starts crying (Justice for him).
Ilay gets all bitchy and changes his attitude when he sees this and basically stops and goes to the bathroom to yell and curse.
After this, Gale explains later on that Ilay was downstairs the next morning after the incident and thought that Ilay killed Taeui(from previous incidents). As Gale goes up the stairs, Ilay tells him to not go and to leave Taeui alone. Gale is shocked by this bc Ilay then goes on to be grumpy and Gale goes on to say that this isn’t what Ilay is normally like.
The next thing I remember is that Game really loves to swim, he goes to swim in the ocean and the pool in the backyard of the house.
Taeui goes to the backyard and lays down in a hammock, has a convo w Gale till Ilay comes. Ilay APOLOGIZES (SHOCKERRR) and yeah.
Next major thing, Taeui meets Xinlu. Xinlu, Ilay, Gale, and Taeui are all together when Xinlu is basically tweaking and telling Taeui to leave w him.
Taeui slaps Xinlu and leaves (ofc more happened but idc)
Xinlu doesn’t give up tho.
As Taeui goes out to shop at the market, he meets Xinlu again but then spots his brother.
Taeui runs to his brother (lowkey forgot if his cast is alr off…I don’t think it is) and goes to a corner and is knocked tf out.
He wakes up in a mansion(describes it as glorious and heavenly) and finally knows what happened to his bro
Jaeui is locked up in a mansion by a royal member and that royal dudes name was Rain(…something like that) he goes everyday to convince Jaeui to make an anti-tank weapon. Rain does nothing his everyday saying he doesn’t care what it is, whether it’s small or big, he just wants it from Jaeui.
They get fed, clothed, and basically treated like royals, so nothing to be concerned abt.
Over the course of abt a week, Taeui has no connection to the outside world and talks w his brother and reflects and starts to miss Ilay.
He manages to get a phone from getting punched from a guard and pickpockets him.
He calls Ilay and tells him where he’s at, and how it happened. Eventually the guard beats tf out of Taeui and retreated the phone.
Jaeui decides to make a blueprint to leave the place for Taeui and they suddenly hear ammunition and blah blah blah.
Turns out Xinlu and his crew blew out the mansion and retrieves Jaeui and Taeui
Here’s where it gets sticky.
As the leave from a blow out wall, Xinlu threatens to kill Jaeui if Taeui doesn’t go w him.
Taeui hears a motor and turns around to see Ilay SMILING on his motorcycle when he sees Taeui.
Taeui decides to go w Xinlu cs of his brother, Ilay is pissed atp and yelling for Taeui not to get in the car w Xinlu.
They leave w Ilay following them but Xinlu shoots the motorcycle causing Ilay to flip and crash.
Forgot to mention but Xinlu comes from a prestigious family in China and is the cherished son.
They stay at a hotel and all that happens is that Taeui and Xinlu talk it out and Taeui tells him that he wants to leave and doesn’t want lil bro and then he sees Jaeui is fine and decided to rejoin USHDO so he isn’t kidnapped anymore.
Xinlu lets him go and Taeui calls his uncle and b4 that he find out his face is plastered everywhere and is now a TERRORIST (someone gen save him). His uncle helps him get a passport to go find Ilay bc the only think Taeui cared abt was going to Ilay and searching for him.
When he gets everything he’s at a bus stop when a car rolls up and it’s ILAY!!!!
sigh…brace urself..
Taeui can’t say anything and is basically shocked seeing Ilay.
Ilay then goes on to accuse him of wanting to run away again and tells Taeui how he’s his and that he’ll never get what he wants.
Ilay punches Taeui in the stomach and knocks him out.
Poof Taeuis now in a hotel(the same hotel Xinlu held him hostage).
Ilay rapes him.
Taeui is sobbing and crying and trying to explain throughout the whole time Ilay is forcing himself on Taeui.
Author was VERY detailed when explaining how Ilay raped Taeui.
Taeui wakes up and can’t move, so Ilay assists him to go to the bathroom.
Taeui explains how he really didn’t want to run away from Ilay and was just planning to fly back to Seria to find him. (lol forgot to mention they were in Hong Kong rn)
Ilay basically tells him that Taeui is his and ugh idk.
Then they decide to stay in Germany w Kyle.

ALSO COMPLETELY FORGOT TO MENTION but during the side story or maybe main story, the dude who’s obsessed w guns actually got assaulted by Ilay.
Taeui found a picture of the dude who likes gun having his favorite gun being shoved up his ass while being tied up. Ilay had raped him w his gun and did it for Taeui bc he betrayed him.
Also who ever said in the comments that Ilay saving Taeui was peak…it rlly wasn’t.
