I feel they are both failing to communicate honestly, and it's not like MC can leave because his son depends on that medication, and he love his son he is not just gonna let his son go back to suffering and being a sleeping beauty
Imo the MC has communicated plenty when it comes to the supposed progression of their relationship but the ML refuses to clarify. And this time he KNOWS his dad went to spew BS to the MC and still did nothing to fix it.
In chapter 41 The ML knows that his father stopped by but the ML asked the MC to tell him what is going on but MC refused and then hit the ML with why didn't you tell me about the pheromones and the ML refused to answer honestly. I think the ML is trying to fix it right now with the bussines he will be away and the jerk of the father is taking advantage of that. They have done more aguring than communicating.
The one thing he couldve told the MC was "I know my dad said some things. But dont believe his words. This is what actually is happening" AND then proceed to explaining why he is doing what he is doing. How would the MC trust and open up to him when all previous "heart to heart" talk the MC tried to initiate was met with silence?
Yeah but hearts to hearts like that don't make a good story till the ending
Im so annoyed with the ML. All he needs to do is TALK to the MC. Why he be out here staying quiet at crucial moments is beyond me. Leave his ass MC and run away with your baby cause this family is wack. AND IDGAF ABOUT HIS BACKROUND SOB STORY. HE OLD ENOUGH TO KNOW HIS DAD ISS WACK HE OLD ENOUGH TO ALSO KNOW HIS ACTIONS ARE ALSO WACK.
