It does get a bit funny when in mangas the protagonists don’t see each other for x years but still love each other the same. But in reality most people can get over their years long relationships in a month and start daring someone new
I don't mind time skips if the story goes on for a while and a time skip happens, what I hate is when a time skip happens right in the middle of it. I would prefer if a story goes on first then the time skip, time skips can be a lot better depending on how the author writes them
And its always someone leaving and reappearing to mess with mc’s moved on life leave them tf alone ghoster ass
I hate time skips in straight romance like I had to drop just twilight and operation true love because of it. Like I would never wait for a man for 7 to 10 years no matter how hot he is because at the end of the day they’re just a man. I hate it when authors do that like it just ruins the story and the most of the time the female leads do not have self-respect or dignity and will get back together with them so fast just because they’re hot and have a big dick. I don’t even know how people can like the male species but to the point you wait for them for years is outrageous. Those two manhwas are overrated anyways the mls are so bland just like every other ml in straight romance. It’s really hard to find an ambitious or interesting mls in most straight manhwas these days.
