Fiction has never been exempted from ethical scrutiny, it's always a mirror to reality, even fucking fantasy and dragons genre and shit. If you read questionable things you gotta have the guts to deal with the fact that people are gonna say something. "Shooing" people online is so dumb, and honestly fucking funny.

I agree because people somehow doesn't understand that when someone is called pedophile, it's because they are SEXUALLY pleased by child's BODY. They masturbate and took pleasure from children. For example, watching childern porn and such. But here, Yuu has never showed those kind of symptoms or actions. In fact Yuu is potrayed to be quite pure for someone his age because he is just NOT HORNY. HE JUST NEVER SAW SOMEONE IN SEXUAL WAY BECAUSE HE IS TOO PURE. Isn't that like, one of his most important characteristics in this manga??
Tsubaki that has turned into teenager learning about "things" started to see Yuu sexually BUT. He already likes Yuu-nii even before he understand whatever about sexuality. This is PURE LOVE. As you said, Yuu probably hasn't really seen tsubaki "that" way until Tsubaki literally MADE him see him that way. And still Yuu has never took pleasure from the fact that Tsubaki is a child, he is even denying Tsubaki's feeling because he just SIMPLY never saw him that way.
And if Yuu ever started liking Tsubaki as a person, I don't think that count as a pedophilia as, once again, he doesn't take pleasure on child's body. It's just PURE LOVE. Like you can love someone romantically without sexually engaged or sexually attracted to them. People just doesn't seem to understand them and just started to label age gap love as pedophilia. No, it's not. Try to read once again what pedophilia is before labeling and calling your cops then get laughed at for it.

The whole that’s a you problem thing is so funny, you're the one who likes questionable tropes, out and proud, not me. If you read questionable shit and you just like it, you do you, but your questionable shit is gonna get called out for being questionable. That's fucking common sense. People crying out about a sour mood when people even slightly tickles their fight defense is fucking cathartic.
Calling out people who thinks fiction might mess with morals as the actual problem is a dumb strawman. Any story with a prepubescent kid being paired with an almost adult, with literal romantic undertone is bound to get scrutiny. My point is not boxed on moral-panic phobia, could be, but it's more the desensitizing of questionable tropes and how literally everybody here is so used to consuming problematic content in the name of 'love' that they think criticism is out of line but not what they're consuming. Thus the statement, media is not exempted from the criticism, like ever.
Like if you don't like then don't read! Just shoo away please!
Remember to differentiate fiction from reality!
Plus the story has time and time again also reminded the readers that there isn't anything happening (that's too much) until Tsubaki grows up, I am pretty sure Yuu is in love with Tsubaki as a person and not as a child! He literally kept himself on a leash because of the age difference
Plus reading and enjoying this doesn't mean we are promoting or condoning pedophilia! If I ever see something wrong in real life even if the person is in their teens I will report it! And pretty sure majority of us would do the same
I absolutely hate pedophilia and believe pedos deserves a longer sentence heck they deserve the death sentence! But this story isn't it! This story is something different and it's clear! The only thing that could link this to pedophilia is due to the age gap, but if tsubaki was 16, ya'll wouldn't care even if yuu was in his 20s!
Stop you're moral debates because at the end of the day we are literally reading this on an illegal site! Which is also a crime
