she still thinks he bedded with eunhye, though. he hadn't explain a thing about why eunhye was in his apartement, underdressed, just after their wedding night. (only explained he met the inchon family)
hence she's still holding back, not telling she loves him... because their relationship is not yet a "safe place".
and about the kiss, it was probably because she's desperate, she can't help it...? when he kissed her, it was like a copium to her. she wasn't the one who initiated the kiss, but hey, if he gave her one, she'd pick up whatever scraps she could, especially when she's got less than a year before winter.
that doesn't mean she isn't in the wrong, tho. but that's how it is when you have deep trauma.... she only tries to protect herself from even more pain.
or at least that's my take on it. *shrugs*
p.s. i cried the hardest on that wedding night chapter by the way... not even my marriage, not even my husband, and yet i still cried even a few chapters after that and after knowing ijun's side of the story. imagine the FL's feelings.......
I think that they seriously have a communication problem, they don't explain much to each other, they don't say "I love you" to each other. So I can see that they both are feeling insecure(I get what you mean about their relationship is not yet a "safe place" ).
I cried really hard for days when I read the few chapters when she was "gradually" abandoned by her "adopted" parents, it's as if I was feeling all her pain and loneliness. That's why I said I supported and sympathized her. I sided with Ijun because I feel that she owes him an "good" explanation why she breakup with him after I read his story. Ijun's love for her never altered through the years even though he should....
Everyone is allow to have a different view to the same story....but I get it what you mean though.
first timeline: her parents passed before she had a chance to really connect with him and he asked her to go to the US with him, she rejected him.
second timeline: her parents are ALIVE and she’s slowly rebuilding her relationship with them now, are we seeing the differences? she just really reunited and connected with her family again and you’re saying you dislike her because of this? grow tf up man… if i had a second chance with my parents i wouldn’t want to leave either
It's not only because of mc rejected ml twice that I dislike her. Its because of all the little decisions that she made, like not telling the mc the things happens with the Ijun's older brother(letting him black mailing her), breaking up with Ijun with him thinking because she is only after money and position. That's funny, everyone was bitching about her in the previous chapters now do the 180. So what if don't like her, she cause the pain of her own grief because of not telling the truth. It's not about leaving her parents.
Honestly, I supported and sympathized for the fl until this chapter. Now I actually really dislike her. Seems to me she acted as if she doesn't love him at all, that's what I got from their conversation. Like she didn't know if she hated Ijun or his other brother(the one who actually)made her suffered. She also refuse to go to US with him again etc...
She shouldn't have kissed him, sure Ijun didn't say he love her literally, but every action in these last few chapters shows his love and affection for her. I can't really say the same for her. If I were him, I would just walk away and never look back.
