alr guys, as much as i lov this manga…

there’s no such thing as top or bottom in a HETERO relationship let’s not appropriate lgbtq+ terminology.

sure there can be dynamics of who’s more dominant / submissive but top and bottom is an entirely diff concept

While the manga kinda seems to lean more towards actually meaning dom for too and sub for bottom (or maybe they are indeed meaning top and bottom, idk we're not in author's head), top generally just means the one penetrating, and bottom the one being penetrated. Hetero relationship can fully have those dynamics. While yes most often the girl is the bottom, if the girl is using a dildo/strap on/her fingers/hell even her own dick if she's trans or intersex, she can be a top. That's it. That's what it means. It's not appropriating.(And saying this just in case, I'm not hetero)

in addition to straps, topping and bottoming is also sometimes used in m/f sex to mean who's doing most of the work, or even who's physically on top - it's used the same way by lgbtq+ couples where NOBODY is doing the penetrating. someone being ridden, for example, can be considered bottoming even though they're the one doing the penetrating.
