How is it grooming when the bottom doesn't care about the top
isnt grooming if the "kid" is the one that likes the older person. In the novel the bottom/older guy acts on and reliases his romantic feelings when the top/younger guy is 20/of age. The younger one/seme likes the uke first.
i know they're gonna end up together but i honestly wish they'd keep this wholesome almost parent-child relationship... them getting together borderline feels like grooming
