Gosh u summed up all my thoughts about chinese manhua in all these years of reading. I think many readers support that, I have had experiences in the comment section where rabid readers go full Karen when I point out the special brand of toxicity in these chinese manhuas! And u know how it is, they gather enmasse just to do it too
