ML went through about 20+ loops, so his memory is messy. In chapter 49, it’s mixed of his memories from all loops he’s been through. And the past arc end there.
They didn’t die once in this current loop, which is manhwa and novel story we’re reading.
Chapter 50 is in the current loop we’re reading, continuing from the end of chapter 49, you can see that both of their clothes are the same with chapter 49 and the end of season 1.
Let’s me make it clear.
- All of season 1, is the present loop we’re reading and by the end of season MC realizes ML has been through many loops
- From season 2 to ch.49 it’s the past memory of ML. (which it’s get more messy by the chapters)
- in the end of chapter 49 they switch to the present (current loops)
- ch 50 is just continuing of the current loops
- they didn’t die in this loop yet.

If it’s ch 45, the one who fell down is Hohyun, the mc.
The loop will restart when MC die, so you can see it in the next page that after MC fell, ML waking up again.
So in summary, The loops will start with ML wake up, and restart when MC die.
MC had died so many times in front of ML, chapter 40-49 is just the past of how ML go through many loops.
When you read ch 40-49, keep the concept in mind, when the MC died and/or ML wake up, it’s meant the loop is restarted again .

Guys help me out a bit. So in ch 50, this is a different round after they die from falling down right? Like what's going on afterwards from ch 50? And they've gone through it all again to come back to that point and go past it? And Hohyun knows the gist of it, like he did the other round? Also when they died in the last round, why was he smiling? Was it just because he's Hohyun, iygwim
