They're just humans made in labs, but with different levels of intelligence.
The perfect ones live in a higher tier social environment while the lower ones are disposable, but they're still humans all the same. It's very dystopian scifi, but worse case scenario, it could also become our reality. (I enjoy it bc it's rare to see decent scifi on this site)
