MC is very smart, understanding and quick and might be the only one who acts like her adult age. I was tired of child mc's misunderstanding stuff and always going "oh everyone hates me", katisha is different, she knows how to use her knowledge of future very well, she doesnt get stuck on stuff and cry abt it. She knows how to win hearts fairly and not victimize herself every chance she gets.
Also a wild guess, is she duke's younger brother's daughter? Coz everything screams she is. From the timeline of her being born and the brother being killed to the made saying her smile reminds her of the brother to even the duke saying that her smile is "nostalgic" is someway. I would be disappointed if thats not the case aint no way you foreshadowed all that for no reason. Maybe her mother or relative knew katisha will be in danger if she's send to the blasco family with her dad so she send her to grandma blasco? Thats why he raised her so lovingly and gave her all the inheritance coz she not only has all the qualities of becoming a blasco heiress but also is legitimately rightful of being the heir being she's of blasco blood. Maybe the brother had a lover who was pregnant but before anyone knew abt it, he died. Idk am i cooking too much lmao
