Sadly, people are so desensitised to r*pe that they don’t find it alarming in fiction anymore and see it as something that could be forgiven easily. There are also people who deadass fetishise it and find it hot. Just look at some of the most popular manhwas/huas/gas and most of them have r*pe in them or worse, but people are still defending and putting r*pists on pedestal (example: Night by the Sea, Roses and Champagne, etc)
Also thank you for your comment. I’ve been scrolling to see someone giving an actual review to see if I should read the story:

You are very much welcomed! It's really a shame that readers have become so desensitized to SA in media.
I do believe that it's a double standard since the offenders of those manhwas/huas/ gas are drawn to be conventionally attractive and that the authors tend to have a narrative where we're supposed to side with the r*pist characters. I think it could honestly say a lot about how r*pe culture is plagued with the media a lot of us consume but it's constantly excused by the real people making and reading them.
I however am lucky yet unfortunate to recognize abuse in my media due to personal experience and watching think-piece videos around pop culture discussing SA. I don't get traumatized by them anymore but I hate how it's so overlooked by the story, the fans and even the authors.
But thank you for reading my comment though!(≧∀≦)
I don't like the main couple of this manhwa or mainly, I can't seem to like Chunwoo's character, even if I read the story through his perspective.
Throughout the story, I think I might have been able to like his character for the complexities of being in love with a man you're in a situationship with, I might have even felt bad for him. But the reason I simply can't seem to like him will always go back to how he r*ped Taesoo. Yes, I understand that the reason Chunwoo did was because he fed up and frustrated with Taesoo's passive attitude regarding their relationship, but in no way was that r*pe warranted or necessary.
I feel as though this whole fandom forgot about it or blathently sympathies with literally anyone other than the person who got r*ped. It doesn't help the after a few chapters, The story is aware that what Chunwoo did to Taesoo was bad, but never gives Chunwoo any consequences for what he did, in fact! He gets to be forgiven and happy with Ho in as Taesoo is left to accept his feelings for Chunwoo in solitude...Does that sound like a character getting the consequences for their action at a previous chapter for r*ping "a friend" as the story lampshade said r*pe? No it doesn't...
I don't know if I'm thinking too deep about this, but I just wanted to air out my biggest frustration with this story as I truly loved the set-up but hated the execution for it....I really wanted to like this one (srry for the long ahh comment(づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ).
