Short mangas: “Here’s closure.”
Short manhwas: “What’s closure?"
Short mangas are out here giving you a gourmet, five-course emotional feast: heartbreak, healing, life lessons, and a little chef’s kiss on the way out.
Meanwhile, short manhwas? They stroll in, drop a single hot character, sprinkle in some random drama, or use sex for the plot and yell “FIND OUT MORE IN THE NOVEL!” if thete is even one... and ghost you like a bad Tinder date.
Mangas are like, “Sit down, babe, let me change your life in 30 pages.”
Manhwas are like, “Plot? Never met her. Here’s some pretty SMUT WITHOUT LUBE and a cliffhanger, figure it out yourself.” You’re left wondering if the characters died, got married, railed or joined an MLM selling skincare. WHO KNOWS.
Manga >>>> and that is facts!!!!
Yeah!! Tbh i think the reason why manga are better in that regard is bc of the panels and structure! You get so much story within one chapter, meanwhile manhwas are 80% white and 20% art in one chapter and u do a lot of scrolling.... If u compare them u can see how little story manhwas give. So it is about the panels I would say...
It's really disappointing sometime thinking oooh this short manhwa will be a quick meal like the manga but nope, there is no food, just scraps of what seems like a story. I've learned my lesson, try not to read short manhwa unless there's 100% positive comments. If there is even a speck out doubt, I just don't bother. I'd rather spend that time with an actual good manga (▰˘◡˘▰)
Why is it mangas with 5-6 chapters feel so complete and gives the perfect ending meanwhile completed manhwas with 5 chapters or 10 chapters feels so empty like so many questions left unanswered
Just a random thought, cause i been discovering and reading quite a few 5 chp manhwas and the ending is not satisfying me
