It's because her character is framed as someone who basically got spoonfed by HS to fame. She admitted it herself. At least she's self-aware.

It's mediocre at best. If you like idol manhwas, I'd recommend reading debut or die instead of whatever this manhwa is.

Well actually, except for jini and ahrin, I don't like most of the female characters here, especially Lee heoun (hyunseung hs classmate) since she's a doormat people pleaser and always needs help from Hyunseung, and that Sara was an obsessive stalker who always want to stick around hyunseung, she has daddy issues and she's projecting her feelings to hyunseung since he really cares about his family and friends, and she has a volatile temper tantrum and yeah (spoiler: in the novel she has an ambiguous non-official relationship with HS) that started with her spreading fake news that they're dating for her albums to chart higher. In my opinion Hyunseung needs a partner who is like the female version of director Kim woohyun who looks after HS well being and really cares about HS, and not some war freak stalker obsessive woman who has daddy issues. I'm just glad it was ambiguous until the end since I'd really hate it if there's any romance that's 'in your face' all the time. I think this is much better if there's no romance at all. Just like in A Tidal Wave of Glory (one of my fave). And it's fun to read the first half of the novel while HS is still in Korea and I lik his dynamic with Woohyun who looks after him like his own son lolol, but the second half after they went to America, it gets all boring and annoying, specially with that Sara character was like an annoying rotten brat who always has temper tantrums. I mean, if she likes HS who's always busy and oblivious to the point of forgetting to eat or sleep, then what's the use of a bratty person in his life, how would they even function in a relationship?? I think Hyunseung only survives his daily life because there's people who takes care of him to remind him to eat, sleep, take a day off etc... Anyway, as HS became the CEO in America, I also feel suffocated with the restrictions he's experiencing of not being able to freely make music in his own pace, like when he's in Korea. So yeah, I don't like the second half much. I think for me, the perfect ending would be in his second fan meeting where he perform an interpretative dance for people who has hearing problems dedicated to his father and then he reveals his face to his fans. It's a good ending already. So I'll just pretend the second half didn't happen at all. Whew, I wrote a lot, lolol.
