He meant the "firm and fair" statement as a call to how Heiner treats his subordinates and other countrymen, not about how was in his marriage. As in, in this scenario, Heiner was treating her as a fellow citizen, who's made a significant contribution to his cause, and not as his ex-wife.
I know that’s what he meant, it just pissed me off because he clearly has a bias and views heiner like some hero much like how Heiner put Annette on the pedestal. He views Heiner as such a great person because to him it seems he’s being very generous to his ex-wife who was a spoiled good for nothing noble, he sees Heiner as this level headed guy who can see past their differences despite everything that’s happened. when that couldn’t be FURTHER FROM THE TRUTH!!
