I'm also curious as to whether or not the author will pull a, "he never cheated, he just puts on this persona." And it says current wife probably cause the childhood sweetheart and his father never got married, so there's no second marriage. And they didn't end up together because affairs rarely end up in happy relationships after, especially if your rival is a rich woman of high standing who already has a child with the man you're "stealing." Rich people shenanigans basically; they'll forgive infidelities a lot if it means avoiding scandal or avoiding messing up power dynamics. His mom in the end was just the other woman.
I’m on chapter 3 and so far I’m wondering if the ML did cheat on his wife in chapter 1 and if he does cheat on her often even if it’s not an actual marriage. Second, despite the ML being the second son in chapter 3 it said his mother was his father’s childhood sweetheart, but he’s the second son. Meanwhile the eldest son and youngest daughter came from the current wife. So I’m guessing the father cheated, but why? And why didn’t he end up with his childhood sweetheart and despite having a child with her, why would he have another child with his current wife after? I’m also wondering why it says current wife instead of first wife?
