MC has been abused and neglected all her life bc she’s an illegitimate child (of the king). ML is the crown princes cousin and marries her to form a connection and peace between the 2 kingdoms.
He seems to have fallen for her but doesn’t treat her w the love and respect she deserves. after marrying him, she’s still treated the same by most and he doesn’t rlly realize or know how badly but regardless he’s trash. i’m pretty sure he doesn’t rlly realize his actions or his love for her bc he’s traumatized by his past. it’s not excusable or that understanding imo tho
MC is already physically weak, so having a child is very taxing on her body. he doesn’t rlly take notice abt her condition except that she’s getting skinnier. he also wanted her to birth the child so she stays “shackled” to him and won’t leave ever again.

basically from what i saw, she begs him saying she's been poisoned. he basically laughs in her face and she dies. then he becomes a bad single father. read ahead like 10 chapters iand it was just misery. no signs of going back in time... it was awful even without translations. don't think i'll continue reading

if that's true i'll just let this marinate for a while bc everything i saw made ML look like trash. couldn't root for his redemption at this point.
