honestly saying bc he’s a man he should’ve hit the pervert is so stupid. no matter the gender, when someone is in that situation he was in, anyone first reaction will be different. whether they hit them, stay still, scream, cry, etc. it’s all on what the person thinks of doing first, gender has nothing to do with it. and the last sentence of yours is really insensitive. as much as i hate this fact, it doesn’t matter if you’re super careful of your surroundings or someone like him who’s careless, you don’t know what will happen to you and that’s the world we live in.
