I like this right, but I’m unsatisfied…. I feel like there was supposed to be so much more to the story. Don’t get me wrong Yeon and Taeho are great but it had so much more to discover and could’ve been been developed more about them, for example Yeon’s insecurities towards himself, his relationship with Taeho and his feelings for his career have been talked and brushed over so many times, I think they could’ve gone way more in-depth about those things, it feels uncomfortable to just end this so rushed without it being talked about.

Also about Taeho, I genuinely do think he does care about Yeon, but really and truly since the beginning after he considered him from first being the person he’s paid to look after to then genuinely caring about Yeon and wanting to look after him despite his curse, it could’ve went from there to him seeing Yeon as someone he could be more open to them being someone he has feelings that’s just more than towards a “friend”. Then we could’ve gotten Yeon introspective from being happy someone around him that’s not his family is not “cursed” to like him, to genuinely liking Taeho as a friend because of how close he is and how much he cares to getting a crush on him because of his affection and becoming more stronger in taking a stand in things towards others around him (like his ex group member; this one makes me pissed) There’s so much that could’ve been done in that while in between, halfway through this everything got so rushed.

There also could’ve been more on the side characters, for example his cousin Ahn Juho and Yeon’s ex-girlfriend. Also barely got any background on Taeho’s mother and his relationship with her from point a to her calling him and apologizing, and speaking of her calling we’re only now finding out about a “Hyung” of Taeho- like…huh. Maybe it’s an older cousin or something but…who?

What pushed Yeon in the end and what would
He like to be?

When will he genuinely feel proud of himself and what he’s accomplished and the people he has to support him through this (his family)?

Does he open up more about his thoughts towards Taeho, because there’s so much communication but never about the right things?
In the end why couldn’t Taeho have gotten a perceptive like in the beginning of the manhwa so we could see more about his feelings for Yeon?

Why couldn’t there be more perspectives for his family and them seeing him get a change for the good because of Taeho?

Why did they introduce his ex-girlfriend as a side character that could’ve played a key factor to his later acceptance towards him as who he is to becoming a side character that just stuffed him back into his insecure shell?

His cousin isn’t a hateful character at least the side stories could’ve been about him and his character development (which they didn’t even give much of) and his career which he cares about. They could’ve made him actually “talk” with Yeon instead of it being them hissing at each other and when they do talk (which is mostly just Yeon) the other just deflects.

So many loopholes and blindfolds…but I still liked this. It was funny, sad and cute at it’s best. (● ̄(エ) ̄●)
