im sorry bro but how did u miss basically half the chapter showing how hed been ruthlessly cast aside by his auntie the reason for him wanting to break off from ml is bc he wants to leave before HE gets left, like that incident. hes a homie hopper trauma and finances in mind - if he gets dumped abruptly thats obviously his only source of income poofed
