Funnily enough.... I've actually finished reading the novel.
I just found some parts of it boring tbh. Like the writing was repetitive at one point, don't remember parts of it that clearly either because the story was like...if a three year old was telling you a story about something and you just nod your head answering "oh yeah? cool, cool." that's what the story telling was like.
Imo the rape scenes was there for the shock factor, like at one point you get desensitized by it. The ending was also....Eh.¯_(ツ)_/¯
I'll reread the ending later and write a summary if anyone wants to get spoiled, but yeah the story isn't for everyone and I just feel bad for Raymond and the horse, the didn't deserve their endings. (●´⌓`●)
