I’ve read that a lot of people are disliking how they started dating and while I for sure understand where they’re coming from just to note on a different perspective more on Chunwoo’s it was hard for him to move on from a love that stemmed from basically his childhood, he’s been holding on to this for years and years. He didn’t see Hoin coming and love, most of the time comes when you least expect it & unfortunately sometimes it’s when we’re not ready for it. Hoin knew the risks going into that beginning situationship with Chunwoo and I think it’s unfair for anyone to ask Chunwoo to drop his childhood bestfriend/first love after everything they’ve been through so quickly (but yes, it was definitely unfair of him to put Hoin through that especially knowing it was how he was treated by Taesoo) but as they said time heals all wounds, I liked that they both had time apart from each other to really think it through & there’s also no excuse from that SA chapter with Chunwoo/Taesoo but I think it was just years of pent up feelings of anger, desperation.. etc that finally surfaced & came out albeit in a very unhealthy way. I actually really like how realistic the author portrayed it to be in the way that they both held on to those feelings of anxiety/worry and uncertainty of their love for each other even after years of being together bc of that incident and if it means having to talk about it over and over again to be comfortable with what happened and solidify their relationship then I’m glad that that’s what is seems like they’re doing! Ugh sorry such a long rant but I rly enjoyed this read (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
