Am I the only one who doesn’t see MC as a damsel in distress? Like, there’s honestly not much he can do in situations like this. He is/was actively playing his part in trying to take the emperor down, but just got found out (cause “plot” lol). I actually find him quite tough with all the shit he has to go through, and I like how he’s still stubborn and glares people down even when his life is being threatened. He also is quick to just say “kill me” instead of becoming a crying mess, begging for his life. Bro cares enough but also couldn’t care less all at the same time haha.
