It's a classic yarn, and I don't wanna spoil too much but yes, there's the psycho who's obsessive, yes! there's the running away scene, yes! the MC has sex with the 2nd ML when he runs away, yes! the 1st ML finds him, yes! there's the classically dramatic cliff and gun involved, yes! The MC ends with the 1st ML, because thumb rule: 1st MLs never dies! They're fucking cameraman of the universe, yes! MC saves the 1st ML from the toxin "why? Wasn't that the whole plot point?" And to that I say "Because", and bags the MC, yes! the MC and the emperor fall in love because

I mean besides the weird hinting the story is.. predictable, I do like how things didn't
magically turn out good between the 2 even if they are in "love" and together, to that I say "why the fuck are you with him?" And yes the emperor did kill MC's mom but he's killed so many horned species because.. he's insane! can't express emotions normally and just finds it fun? He runs with a purpose of 'just cause' because he don't function normally, right he also names our MC but I ain't revealing what.. yet and yea the emperor does feel bad for killing them and confesses it- AT THE LAST CHAPTER OF THE FUCKING MAIN STORY!!
